Think Big Media PR is looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Coordinator to work with its team on a contract basis with the opportunity for growth for the right candidate. In, this position you will be assisting in the day-to-day communication of multiple clients across several social media platforms in the outdoor and travel industries. Contract Social Media Coordinator Job Description

  • Support Think Big social media team with content development and social media posting for a variety of clients

  • Maintain a solid understand of each clients’ brand voice and social media goals to assist in achieving client objectives

  • Understand and monitor the latest social media trends and platform changes

  • Assist in monitoring, engaging and responding to clients’ social media channels on a daily basis

  • Provide regular updates to Think Big Team on engagement and channel performance

  • Assist in managing and tracking multiple photo and video libraries for clients

  • Draft compelling blog posts

  • Assist in email marketing content for multiple clients

  • Assist in ad development and strategy recommendation

  • Assist in developing creative content promotions and giveaways

  • Assist with Facebook and Instagram Live events

  • Develop monthly reports and analysis on clients behalf

Skills Required

  • 2-6 years experience in working in social media and proven success as a social media coordinator in a professional and/or contract setting

  • Solid writing, editing and storytelling skills

  • Creative and passionate about social media and developing engaging content

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Self driven with the ability to work independently and efficiently

  • Detail oriented; ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects and communicate regularly with Think Big team

  • Maintain top professionalism with a solid understanding and proven track record of client service

  • Strong knowledge of digital image editing for social media channels and blog posts

  • Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics

  • Experience working with either Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic template programs a plus

  • Degree in marketing, communications or English desired.

  • Familiarity with WordPress

  • Video editing experience is a plus but not required

  • Experience with endurance sports training a plus but not required
