Ivie brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm in marketing communications and public relations to destinations, hotels, resorts, real estate and lifestyle brands. With a proven track record of real results, Ivie combines her creative, entrepreneurial spirit with a strategic, data-driven approach to produce successful integrated communications.


In her most recent role as President of Lou Hammond Group Denver, Ivie launched the west office, responsible for growing, cultivating and maintaining client roster; overseeing and developing client communications strategy, planning and approach shifting based on business objectives and current affairs for travel and tourism, hospitality, lifestyle, real estate and wellness verticals. During her tenure, she developed and led award-winning campaigns earning key national placements in top media outlets such as Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, Wall Street Journal, TODAY, Good Morning America, Fox, New York Times, AFAR, Bloomberg and more.


Before joining Lou Hammond Group, she served as Director of Marketing for Timbers Resorts and Two Roads Hospitality where she implemented integrated communications programs to build brand awareness and drive revenue growth for properties in key markets including Charleston, Vail, Kauai, Aspen, Tuscany and Manhattan. During her tenure launching The Luxury Collection’s first North American ski resort in Vail, she was nominated as Vail Valley Partnership’s Hospitality Professional of the Year. Her hospitality expertise ranges from independent to world-class brands. From leading client campaigns in agency settings to managing agency partnerships and directing integrated marketing communications in house, Ivie brings a collaborative and multi-faceted approach to her work.


A native of South Carolina, Ivie is a graduate of the College of Charleston. She began her communications career in Charleston where she worked in hospitality marketing and interior design. Her interior design firm was featured in The World of Interiors and earned a designation as one of Charleston’s “Most Influential Design Firms.” Heading west, Ivie traded the beaches for the mountains. She now splits her time between Colorado and South Carolina, where she enjoys everything outdoors from hiking and skiing to horse-back riding and paddle boarding. ​​Be it work or play, Ivie is a seeker of exploration, experiences and inspiration.
